Express Pickup: Home

This guide outlines the steps involved in utilizing the OBU Library's express pickup service for students, faculty, and staff.

What is Express Pickup?

Express Pickup is a free service that involves you searching for library materials online from anywhere, requesting those items, and the library staff gathering and holding the items for you at the front desk. You can pick up your items quickly and efficiently and at your convenience during library hours.

Start Here.

Begin your search here through OBU's WorldCat search: http://okbu.worldcat.org/

Type in the subject you are searching for. When you find an item that you would like, click the title and then choose the "place hold" button.

You will then be directed to the MLC Local Catalog where you will choose the "place hold" link. Enter your ID number and choose the blue "place hold" button. That's all there is to it! You can request up to 10 items per day. You will receive an email when the item(s) you requested is ready for you to pickup.
